I have just bought a 'w'reg ford capri 2 litre GL model which is fitted with an unusual gearbox. It would appear to be a sequential box of some description with three operating rods running up the left side of the box from the gearlever. It is quite a small box though the propshaft splines appear larger than usual. I am a thirty six year old motor mechanic nad have never seen one of these boxes before.
The car was built in germany and is fitted with a 2 litre pinto engine.
Any information anyone can give me on this box would be gratefully recieved.
Thanx

gearbox
the only thing I can think of
...is the 4 speed box used by Ford in the 70s (mostly on the MkII Capri) that had the gear selector linkage on the ouside of the box, but that definitely not sequential!
