I would like to know if you can change the points type distributor to an electronic ignition thus doing away with messing around with setting up the points. If so what distributor can be used. I have a 1984 1.6 laser

If you buy a Lumenition kit (for about £100) then you can fit electronic ignition using your existing dizzy.
