insurance 4 a 1600 SR

hi,

Does anyone know the insurance group for a Vauxhall Astra mk1 1.6 SR? How much would i pay at 17 for my first car?

Also has anyone considered a lotus Carlton engine for there capri?
A 200mph super capri (for dragracing purposes only)

this mentioned astra is a skip on wheels that would cost a bomb to insure at 17 anyway - if you are intent on this type of car get a mk1 golf gti - if you could afford around £1500-£2000 insurance

and a lotus carlton engine would probably be a nightmare to fit- if possible at all and cost a fortune to buy.
