can anyone reccommend decent tyres Ive got to get some I was tinkin Avon zv1's -ne1 used em?

Recommend the following :
Tried lots of tyres over the years, ( 26 ) Michelin last the longest, ( harder compound ) but don't hold the road so good 'especially' in the wet.
Unroyals about the same, but slightly softer compound, I have found Pirelli's to be 'by far the best' on my 2.8 i , but they do wear a bit more, cannot have everything, but I'd rather have the GRIP, and have them wear a bit, rather than lose it on a corner..!
The lower the profile the better, although you will feel the potholes a bit more, but then again it makes up for it in much better roadholding..
