Can standard Ford speakers handle 22wx4?

Having just ripped out the standard 80's stereo from me laser, i was wondering, can the standard speakers handle the power of 22w in each coming from my modern Pioneer head-unit?...

22w will most likely blow em - if they dont they will only give a good sound at v low volume. and will disort like **** when you crank it up - i'd get some components if i were you - you can get jbl ovals (60w) in the front pods i dont remember which size exactly try your local ice place.
