Door removal

Anyone got any suggestions for the best way to get the doors off? I have scraped all the crud from the hinge pins, but them don't appear to be hollow, and it is difficult to get a parallel punch in to drift them out. Is the easiest way to take the trim out, and undo the bolts holding the hinges to the body? The haynes manual doesn't say anything, so it's a bit trial and error-anyone done it before?

take the trim panels off mate. Bit tricky to get at on the drivers side top hinge, but you don't need to take the whole dash out as it might first appear.

Idid this about a month ago. Ihit the solid pin out with a punch and largr hammer . the top one was very tight indeed, good luck.
