LSD or not?

How do I tell if I have a limited slip or a standard diff? As the previous owner did a few mods such as a new prop and I wondered if the diff had been upgraded in the process.

jack one side up and try to turn the rear wheel.
if it rotates then its not an LSD.

If it isnt be vey careful when trying to obtain one, try to get one thats still in the car and you can hear it when driving !!!
