Faaaaark ! that was riveting stuff , I actually forgot to breathe for 6 mins and 17 whole seconds .
There was a brief spot of humour when I saw Skoda parts being delivered in a Fiat truck.
I felt so sorry for you English watching that , reminded me of how I felt after I saw the footage of London after the blitz.

Sometimes I talk to myself ... and we both have a good laugh

Those older Skodas were no where near as bad as the bar room experts made them out to be. Yes they weren't up to Escort MK3 or Astra standards but then they were half the price.
I shall soon be buying my third Skoda daily having had a Fabia VRS and an Octavia VRS, both of which have been brilliant.
With the old Skodas they are becoming quite collectable now and any remaining ones are creeping up in value, especially the 130 coupe.

They had to double check all the nuts and bolts, because they weren't sure, if they were tighten properly. It was only reason for that "special" check.
And second (very funny) period stuff is that "only for export" equipment: alloy wheels, front black spoiler, vinyl roof,.... Only for export, not available and impossible to have in CZ (CS) back in the days, even though everything was assemble here.
