Snowed nearly all day yesterday. Not really heavy, we had a few centimetres, but the Capris are staying put!

It snows quite often here and there has been about -15 degrees for a week now.

Boring Toyota need to handle the cold weather.

Car is sitting on four car stands so tires won't be getting unshaped. Only thing getting is dust. No more cold/wet rusted enough as it is. (minimun of +10 degree warmth)

Ah, I remember the good old days in the 90s when I'd put the 2.8i back in the garage and buy myself an old 1.6 or 2.0 with a few months ticket, then rag it round the back roads all winter long without a care in the world.
Sounds sacrilege to you all now, but usually those cars would never make it through another MOT. I'd spend a weekend dismantling them, get a tenner for the empty shell (£20 if I left the engine in), then fill my shed up with spares, ready to put on the next old banger I bought. I usually managed to sell enough of the parts to break even as well.
I never had an issue with the RWD in the snow, far more logical to me to be steering into a slide, than watching the front end of a FWD car sailing merrily into the ditch.

I have however suggested that wifey leaves her 200bhp Z4 at home until conditions get a bit better. ;)

Absolutely beautiful that - both the snow and the car! Most we get is an inch or two, then it melts, freezes, and the side roads become skating rinks!
