I`d say that was pretty good, TBH. Very difficult without it fitted as the light angle affects shade, but that looks really good.

Depends how you fit it.
With the spoiler being so low it is likely to become damaged when towed.
A lot of people simply make it easily removable and use the original tow point, if there's one welded to the cross-member, or lash around the cross-member itself.
You would also struggle a little bit to link back to a suitably strong point on the chassis etc to tow from.

I don't have nomore towing point at crossmember because it would have collided with engine mud guard/ collision barrier?Bug wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 1:21 pmDepends how you fit it.

Re: Got a broken lip/spoiler from painter
Well I cannot recall anything further forward than the engine cross-member that is suitable to tow from, so for me I'd be looking at spoiler off and strap around the cross-member.Vermilion wrote: ↑Sat Nov 28, 2020 9:56 pmI don't have nomore towing point at crossmember because it would have collided with engine mud guard/ collision barrier?Bug wrote: ↑Fri Nov 27, 2020 1:21 pmDepends how you fit it.

Apart from that? Some way of running a solid towing point forward from the cross-member. sound a bit complicated.

Re: Got a broken lip/spoiler from painter
I was wondering if there is anything to attach towing poing if I try to use those "air holes in spoiler"?
https://www.burtonpower.com/fia-approve ... oweye.html
I got one of those, but requires holes and atleast minor welding to get it to fit.

Re: Got a broken lip/spoiler from painter
What's been done to it? I've always wanted a good, sorted Ford V6 on carbs.. but how does it handle?

Re: Got a broken lip/spoiler from painter
Hahah Carbs, She doesn't have those. It is pretty much impossible to get over 500bhb from carb 2.8 V6 engine.
2.8 EFI manifold
Stock injectors were like 340cc/3bar and those are changed to 1300CC bosch EV14
Now the fuel rail is the problem (it is too small). I have AEM 400LPH fuel + 044 pump with Aeromotive
Coarse and fine filters with stock fuel tank. With AN-8 inlet and AN-8 outlet + Aeromotive X1 ProEfi pressure regulator.
Running E85 fuel.
Engine and steel corset to strenghten bottom end.
All ARP-bolts/12.9/14,9 bolts.
Forged rods and pistons. (Pistons might be weakpoint, because needed to be loathet to lower compression from 11.3 to around 9.0 )
Block is O-ringed with SS-mig wire and felpro "hd" headgasket
Stock heads, with bronze guiders, double valve springs, Cro-Mo retainers, Self made channels. Burton power big SS-valves. Smith Bross, push rods, and Harland Sharp Roller rockers. 2x Pinto ARP heads bolts.... made to fit. Extra water holes drilled to heads. Made to use non lead fuel , valve seats (better for E85 fuel)
Something
Should be balanced quite well...
Next upgrade to engine is big- one piece throttlebody and bigger Fuel rail.
Wished that I have money to get thougher crankshaft, but needed to stick with crossdriller crank that
has better oil feed. I had half forged crank but that only had 1 oil hole. So I sticked with crossdrilled.
If I have bigger exhaust side engine might rev up to 7500 but now only 6000rpm. Internals are made so that
it would be pretty safe to run 6500 to 7000rpm with 2 bar boost. Not yet there though.
Not sure how to fit those yet.... since I don't have tools to work aluminium.
