Well , you cant blame Lewis for having a fast car ,anyone would if they could , and he aint the best driver either, but together him and that car are a good combination . There are other f1 drivers out there that could drive that car just as well and every manufacturer has the potential to build a better car ....the fact that they dont (go for the bigger pockets ) aint Lewis's fault either . Saying that he wouldnt win in a slower car may be true ,but the manufacturer wouldnt be in a hurry to renew contracts if he didnt bring the bacon home......(and then someone else gets a go ), but for a non winner to claim he only won coz of the car is sour grapes.
To be fair , I remember going to the go cart ( lawn mower engine jobs )track with mates and it doesn't take long to figure out which cart is the fastest ,and everyone wanted to drive that one,......,we usually stick one of the girls in that one coz they always crash....with a bit of help

Far too much money in sport so I don't really care for any of it, and I certainly don't think any of them deserve a knighthood :? Leave that for those that have served, fought or died for us!

I wonder how many top footballers/F1 drivers would do it for £500 per week?
Rashford has a point about free school meals, but to my knowledge he hasn't given up any of his wages to put into the system to help. Raising it is one thing and giving it from your own pocket is a completely different matter.

Tough times at the moment and those with it should have the conscience to help those without!

Rant over

I think Hamilton is becoming a nausiating little turd with all his black lives matter rubbish. Politics must be kept out of elite sports.

I totally agree with Andy & Paul things have just gone to mad in the world , people seem to be on only one side where every life matters and as a vegetarian I can say that  .
We don’t have a straight day but we have gay pride . If I said let’s all jump on one leg at events for white only people that would go down like a lead balloon
The in word since Lockdown is Bame , when I first kept hearing this I had look this up “ Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic “
Now I bet when this word has been used a few times it will be banned .
When we say Knighthood it’s the people as Andy said who put theres lives on the front line not a jump up kid with the team who has the fastest car and most money .
I always say how it is and that’s why I will be playing Tiny Tim is this years “ A Christmas Pinto “ where a tight old 280 Brooklands driver has a visit from 3 pinto engine capris and sees the light and swaps out the German city named engine for a pinto

Being black I'm sure helped LH with a knighthood!

Diversity is another word that has become big in 2020. BLM, gay pride etc has pushed this onto our TV screens, especially adverts where a majority of them contain black, mixed race and same sex couples. Nothing wrong with that, but a year ago you wouldn't have seen those adverts so just goes to show if certain people shout loud enough change happens, where as if you are white/straight you are often called politically incorrect/racist because you aren't in that minority or just have different views. Everyone should be allowed their views but sadly freedom of speech is gone for some while the woke brigade carry on

Yes Jason, all lives matter

For me and I don't know Lewis Hamilton but I don't like him for many reasons. Putting that aside you can only be as good in the sport you in at thee time you are able to be in it.

If you take Moss, Hamilton, Senna etc and wonder who is best for varying reasons you are never going to know. Is Lewis Hamilton the best in his field? Yes, he's won 7 titles and despite contracts and drives where there are obvious advantages and benefits you still have to have the ability to achieve it. The immense pressure, the dedication and the ability to understand the sport your in and convert that to having success within it deserves acknowledgment. He is the best because results say he is. Nobody can take that away. He is British even though half of the time he doesn't respect what being British actually is. I think even though I cannot stand him for what I read and hear, I will say I respect him and we'll done Lewis Hamilton. He is arguably the best driver I have seen, got to think back to his age and ability in the era he started. Brilliant talent.

Lots off money to go with it. He should shut his mouth and drive a bloody car. Still my voice isn't valid anymore as I am a white middle aged man. Endangered. Read article 10 of the Human rights act.

No doubt to be exceptional at a sport, musical instrument will take hours and years of practice, then again some are born to find it easy.
I've not driven a F1 car, but I used to play snooker and the likes of O' Sullivan are a naturals and often make it look easy which it isn't.

As before if the big money wasn't there in sport, I wonder how many would still pursue it just for the love of it :?

I think the only problem with that is that then you'd basically only be able to play Sunday League Football because you have to work to survive.

If David Beckham loves football but has to work 9-6 everyday in an office/factory/supermarket I wouldn't blame him for struggling to be motivated to then turn up and train and play in the evenings as well as at the weekend?
Don't get me wrong, there is way too much money in football and F1 is even worse; Hamilton gets paid £40m a year - £1.15m a week!

I'm glad you said gets as no one can earn that obscene amount :x Bet he hasn't got a Capri (or Mustang)

£40m :banghead: I would help alot of people with that as well as my own expenses!

You live by what you earn, you don't live in a mansion earning minimum wage, so if sport paid £1000 a week still (more than enough imo) then they would have to live accordingly.

Get off their soap boxes and often acting like they are above the law because they are rich

Yep, there's your licence fee right there being spent. This week she makes a glass of Orange Squash and tells you how to fill a kettle.

What a ridiculous b*tch and that's being polite. Taking the piss out of people big time.

Maybe stop taking drugs.

Well precisely mate, not many. The world had gone mad. A lot of over paid over excited frogs on cocaine. Reality TV, Fake news, Left wing media and the money in sport is absolutely obscene. I'm no Marxist or Socialist either, I'm a capitalist but all of this BS world and disparity is getting out of hand. If you earn it fair enough but pay your taxes.

What the Jim George has being a vegamaterin got to do with it ?;🤔😀
We don’t have a straight day but we have gay pride . If I said let’s all jump on one leg at events for white only people that would go down like a lead balloon
Ah , Im white and I spend all day jumping about on one leg , and yeah , it does go down like a lead balloon but at least Im not vegiterian 😂😂.

I think the real issue at the bottom of all this shit is that we can no longer voice an opinion without all the attention seeking fuckwitts tearing you to bits , I mean if you dont want a particular ethnic group setting up camp in your country you should be allowed to say that (its not personal) , but we have Cindy ,on tv telling us the whole country is upset about "the massacre " 🤭.....thats bullshit
Seems to me that most all of the disharmony in the world is a result of clashes in political or religious differences so maybe we should have a bit of reverse immigration and then everyone can do what they want ......you can keep your honour killings and fgm and all the other sick depraved shit you do in your own back yard.

I see the Strictly come dancing viewers have been complaining about that young lady from Eastenders constantly being in the bottom two after the public has voted, apparently the U.K now hates young, confident women, so we hate black people, Asian people, gays, lesbians, the rest of Europe, fuck me there's nothing left is there!
