I was going to.come out with a scathing comment about the shape of modern cars, engines the wrong way round and the wheels driven from the wrong end, but then remembered that half of your legs were confiscated by medical professionals and it must be a loads harder process getting a car that is any fun, conversions insurance etc so I can't, but then worked out a way I could

No mods needed if its an automatic but manuals are out as I would need a hand throttle/brakes and I just cant be arsed.
I know what you mean about modern cars ,thats why I have older bikes and car too,but there is a lot to be said for all the relative luxuries and safety features that come with them and the required maintainance is almost nil. The last car , almost identical to this one , we did 140,000kms and in that time I fitted a new serpentine belt ,air filter, changed oil & trans fluid and filters and a battery. It had to go for a airbag recall but thats it . ...oh and tires ......no brake pads tho
Im knockin on 60 bit crippled and by the time I have fixed something on the house and or the capri getting into a mobile lounge , cocooned in pre tensioners and airbags ,saturn rocket under my foot and wafting ( as much as one can waft on 225-45-17 tires ) my way to wherever .....When I get my Capri finished ......properly I probly wont need this car any more :D

But Christ, 276 bhp....!!!!!! And here's me thinking knocking on 60 you might be slowing down a tad   ...I'm just intrigued now to know what engine you plan to fit to your fishing boat when you get one

Here's something I found amusing....

Looks good, and 276 BHP should be more than enough for your usual thrill-seeking escapades ! :)
Front wheel drive, I assume?

Andrew.

Yep front drive.....bit of torque steer  motor is a 2GR-fe
My #ucking Mrs , took it to town day before yesterday ( instead of the crappy old wagon ) put a bale of pea straw in the back , left it overnight . Windows all fogged up , stinks like a compost heap and the car is crawling with every insect known to man and she's moaning coz 1/2 the bale stayed in the car when she pulled it out after breaking the bailing twine holding it all together....
