Scap heap or Aladdin's cave?

Post by Peter-S »

We have an old coal store/former outside loo that has not been put to best use. It had an old DIY wardrobe in there that was of little benefit so I've cut it up and made some shelves as I seem to have collected quite a few Capri bits over the years and it was time to try and put most of them in one place. I say 'most' as there are some bigger bits in another shed. I blame ebay

The brown paper package? I think that was a good deal I got on some Betamax special interest videos. No, hang on, that's in the attic ;) Until the cuppa comes to pass you'll have to take my word that it's a pair of Cologne cylinder heads (apologies for the bad language Jason )

Hmmm... Betamax is Traci Lords territory Peter. Jason's dad has a stash of these too in his garage

Peter - with all that lot all you need is a shell and you could build another car.

Just bought some venison and some goat for a nice stew tonight. Tried to get some rabbit too, but some spoilsport bought the last one before I returned with the cash.

I want to try a bit of goat too, maybe roast up a leg or shoulder , just not that common here in shops ,but there is nothing to stop one from going bush and shooting a few . Most farmers with feral goats are real keen to have hunters get rid of them , pigs too. Couple of nights ago , at parents place in Wanaka there were 6 rabbits on the lawn while we ate tea . They are driving Dad nuts as the little fuckers can eat faster than everything on his 10 acres can grow....well only the stuff you really dont want eaten . We have been banging away at them for 40 odd years .....to the point that we now try to come up with entertaining ways to kill them.

Great collection of parts there Peter. It looks like many an hour could be spent rummaging around.
Although I've been criticised for saying it in the past, I'll say it again, think stockpiling for the future is a sensible precaution.

Andrew.
