User names

Can we please set a new rule where people are no longer allowed to put the year of their birth as part of their user name?

It is starting to make me feel effin' old! :swear:

Have you any idea how depressing it is when you tell people you were in the Gulf War, remembering it as if it were yesterday, and they say "I wasn't born then!"

I start to feel like Uncle Albert on Only Fools and Horses..........................."Durin' the war..........."

But then I guess I get to gloat when I can talk about walking into the Ford dealer and buying Capri spares, brand new, over the counter, at reasonable prices. 60 quid for a Mk3 wing? Certainly sir. ;)

Unfortunately I was born after the Gulf War yes

Although I am incredibly jealous of your ability to pick parts up dirt cheap - £60 these days barely gets you an envelope filled with Brooklands Lazer Turbo Tickford rust ;)

Fiona has a niece born in 2001.... I mean get your head around that, BORN AFTER THE YEAR 2000! I didn’t realise such people existed. Add that she can legally come to the pub with us and, well, I just feel ancient!

Sorry to make you feel even further out of touch but Millennials generally stop between the mid-late 90s and after than they are called Gen Z

Yes, I was quite pleased to learn that I’m a millennial a couple of years back, made me feel really young, briefly!

Really? That doesn't even make sense!
I guess the only good thing is, if we've already reached Gen Z there's nowhere left to go.

Or are we now looking at Gen BLM :xd: :xd: :xd:
