Weber Mesh Filters

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi. I bought a set of Weber mesh push on filters a while back and had them sitting on the garage shelf so today thought I'd whip of the pipercross socks to see how they fit and look and I have to say these mesh ones are really great.!! Very good quality too as they are triple layered with double mesh layers with a filtration layer sandwiched between. Weber state they offer very good performance too but our Mr Tom would deffo appreciate this better than me for now as I'm still a proper 45 virgin compared to this old 45s fella   and his superb set up !!!

Few pics.... Will run with these for now then pop on the socks in the winter when it gets cold

Yep , they do look good Nick (totally rooted skoda bits would still look good in that engine bay ), sure dont want to piss on your campfire .......but Im busting  , cant help but think there doesn't look to be much in the way of surface area. Have you had a chance to ring its neck .......just wondering if it affects fueling at all :)
Nick , buddy I think its time to find a new project......the Capri is done finished elfinito . I think you need a kit car , something you can put your touch on right from the start ,something that doesn't have to be "done right" to keep purists happy. Heres a hot tip , pick the kit you like (Lotus 7 ....... I'll explain later :D ) and then either photoshop or find images of hot chicks in the car to show her indoors how good (young) she would look in said car , pretend to let her pick the colour ( only give her the actual colour you want and some shite colours she would never go for ) and put her name on the personalized plate and your in like flyn . :goodluck:

Fecking Hell Hamish, give me time to cook my sausages on my campfire before pissing on it won't you mate

Might be small surface area but The Pintos got a bleedin big heart fella and if I drop my spanner while working on it I can reach down and pick it up through the engine bay

Hamish as you know it's been a pretty weird year and with cancelled shows other stuff going on I ain't really had many proper opportunities to get out for a proper long drive so this year's pretty much been voided but it's giving me chances to get stuff done I been wanting to for ages. Then next year get out to shows and stuff and I'll really know how the fuel goes. One thing is when I do get our its deffo a different driving experience in B112 now I've had the mods done and it's putting an even bigger smile on my face than before. Re miles per gallons it's more like smiles per gallons

Now Mr Tool, what's all this about me wrapping up B112 and takin on a kit car project !! I still got plans for my little pinto powered ford mate

But... I did see this little beauty.... and just by chance it has a Pinto too

Now if you can educate me into persuading my missus this will be good for her you're a bleedin magician
