Valve clearance

Post by Major_Tom » Wed Jul 22, 2020 12:21 pm

..I check them every year and thought it was about time I checked them. Good thing I did, the number 2 exhaust valve had closed up so much that not even my 0.05mm feeler gauge would fit in there! Wondered why it was running like such a bag of shit.

The other valves were fine. Strange, all these years of running unleaded and no additive, its been fine, then sudddenly on one its rapidly worn it down.

Much better now though!
