It's remarkable that people are still searching YouTube for Hale and Pace clips in 2020! :D
That appears to be the genuine registration plate, the Capri was last taxed in 1988.

They were good, but with the PC Brigade they wouldn't be allowed on screen now, someone would be upset or offended :(
