A big thank you to the NHS for being there for us at this crucial moment in need.

Yes, thank you NHS.
I think we all appreciate the great work the NHS workers do, even more so in these troubling and worrying times.

Didn't everyone used to slate the nhs? Is this one of those
Moments like the police have when people treat them like a holes right up till the moment their house is being burgled, then all of a sudden they love the police and want them around?

lol. I always used to play that card when my mates were grumbling about the police (usually because they were doing something illegal and got caught, I couldnt help but notice). Who knows, a once in a lifetime event like this might pull a few heads out of a certain dark, warm entrance to the body.

My mum was grumbling about prisons not being punishment because "you have an xbox (why is it always "an xbox" inmates have? And always "a bus" that hits you?), until I pointed out that the punishment is the loss of your ability to have freedom, to go see your mate if he is ill etc, thats the punishment.

Even if people did "slate" the NHS, I doubt that the workers on the frontline would have been the subject of their criticism, more like the organisation itself. The nurses and doctors deserve our admiration, in my opinion.

Agreed Andrew,

The doctors and nurses plus all the others who are working in the hospitals should receive our admiration and thanks.
It's the political bean counters running the NHS that the criticism is meant for and quite rightly so.
