I have my grandfathers old MoD WW2 pocket watch (brass with broad arrow on back, no cover on the face) which an ex kindly broke for me getting out of a car with it on her lap. It ticks no more, slight dent on the edge. Anything you might know about?
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

Yes very common in ww2 most are smiths so parts very easy to get but the dent would need a full strip down with parts and clean comes in a lot more then to buy one working . Saying that 1st WW watches are going up in price year on year so will not be long before ww2 watches go up in price .
