I have my grandfathers old MoD WW2 pocket watch (brass with broad arrow on back, no cover on the face) which an ex kindly broke for me getting out of a car with it on her lap. It ticks no more, slight dent on the edge. Anything you might know about?Jasonmarie wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 10:19 amAll is there somebody on the forum also in to clocks and watches
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.

Re: I spotted this peter
Yes very common in ww2 most are smiths so parts very easy to get but the dent would need a full strip down with parts and clean comes in a lot more then to buy one working . Saying that 1st WW watches are going up in price year on year so will not be long before ww2 watches go up in price .Major_Tom wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2020 5:10 pmI have my grandfathers old MoD WW2 pocket watch (brass with broad arrow on back, no cover on the face) which an ex kindly broke for me getting out of a car with it on her lap.
