That looks like great fun!
(Nerd alert) Just to clarify something mentioned in the article, the Reliant should handle reasonably well despite not having front wheels, as the cars these days have a powerful neodymium magnet in the centre of the chassis. Once you've exceeded the limit of adhesion of the magnet the car will come off the track whether it's got front wheels or not. The older style cars did not have magnets, but it's the guide/ pick-up that keeps the front of the car on the track, not the front wheels. To illustrate that, Scalextric had a range of racing motorcycles and sidecars, and they held the track just as well as the cars despite not having any front wheels.
Regardless of all that, given the choice of car for a race, I'd still pick the pratmobile!
