I was. A Capri whale tale spoiler for £195 in the classifieds!

Seriously though, the colour photos look great. As John says, the show reports will really come alive with colour photos of the cars.

Andrew.

I've never minded it being in black and white, and like a lot of us have read it this way for years now. So to open it up without warning and see it so vibrant and colourful, throughout, was a right shock!

Of course, the extra costs will no doubt be passed on to us all, but there you go. It is great value I feel, and well worth being a member.

Was it not full colour a few years back?
Or am I just showing my age? That may have been mid-90s or so!

Black and white has always bugged me and I don't find black and white photographs show the details or quality in the images. I hope it stays this way! It's a step in a great direction and I'm now looking forward to the next letter.

Imagine what it was like before black had been invented though.

I did chuckle about the editorial along the lines of "you would ask how the event went, because none of you turned up"......!

And how he really laid into the organisers of Mallory Park for Classic Ford Show.

One thing that really made me chuckle though, was in their new look "colour" magazine their was some seat cloth for sale with " email the club office if you want to see colour photo" :?

To be fair to him, it wasn't JH who wrote that show review, it was Mick Ward from the 280 register. Just saying! :)

On the subject of the auto jumble not being a success, perhaps October wasn't the best time of year to hold an event like that.

Andrew.
