Yet again bewildered at the price differences between ECP and Carparts4Less. May need to do the starter on my sister-in-law`s Punto tomorrow, so was just browsing for prices. A couple of quid, OK - but look at the prices for the Bosch unit:
I know there`s always an offer `up to` 50% off, but so do CP4Less: I applied the code and it worked out 37% cheaper. As CP4L also hav a 17% IIRC discount you`re talking 20% difference on a price that`s 55% higher. DFS sale syndrome?

Re: ECP again
Hi Steve,
It's amazing that you can buy the Bosch and Lucas starters at CP4L for less than the price of the Bosch unit alone at ECP!
I understand that ECP have the overheads of retail shops, but surely that's not relevant for internet sales.
Andrew.

Re: ECP again
We worked out that CP4L was so much cheaper that we could just bin the old unit (surcharge £12, cost of postage £14) and it would still be way cheaper than ECP with the refund. All discounts used. Also it saves 2 trips into Trafford Park. Does seem a strange business model.
