Re: Ford Sierra £80k.!!
I paid £11,500 for mine when it was 2 years old. Wish I still had it but, like a lot of them, it was nicked after I'd had it for 2 months!
I think I remember a RS500 selling for more than this one.

Great car though, and possibly one of the best Sierra Cosworths out there.

Re: Ford Sierra £80k.!!
Guys I am gutted. I bid up to my max of £79k and still got outbidded but I stuck to my budget and gracefully declined to bid any more.

An RS500 definitely sold for £115k not long back, I’m not sure if that’s the record but it’s certainly approaching it.
The Heritage Edition Focus RS was a great investment, they appreciated at least £20k as soon as they were driven (or trailered) off the forecourt:

Nice car, but if I had that kind of money I would buy this https://www.ford.co.uk/cars/mustang/mod ... gITdPD_BwEmjcapri wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2019 7:08 am An RS500 definitely sold for £115k not long back, I’m not sure if that’s the record but it’s certainly approaching it.

Re: Ford Sierra £80k.!!
For £49k I'd go proper American muscle, get something seriously meaty like a 7.2L Dodge Charger! If it was blue oval, I'd still get a nice early 'stang

Re: Ford Sierra £80k.!!
Amazing sale price. At the end of the day I don't know why so many people get hung up with low mileage, it's a 30+ year old car which ever way you look at it and things like bushes etc will be worn, also its never gone anywhere so its things that you can't see. There seem to be a lot of collectors out there with cash so I suppose why not. Good luck to them but I'd sooner have a well serviced and cherished 60k car for less then half that price
