Hi guys an girls,
New to the forum.
Have owned 13 Capris in distant past.
My first car was a Capri. I popped my cherry in one and lost my licence in another then spent most of the 80/90’s in the rest LOL!
Looking for another. Ideally 3.0S or 2.8i 4 speed but would consider others.
Been watching the market for a while now and the money is metal considering what we all probably scrapped and gave away in the past!
Hoping you guys can give advice when it comes to checking the authenticity of what’s for sale.
Cheers
John.

- Car(s): First 1.6l Capri VSO 334S fitted fishnets, 2.0l and all the bits. Second 3.0 Ghia Capri KOH 67W with profile body kit in Cobalt Blue. Put it through a fence and completed full rebuild including X pack, engine rebuild and wide wheels while on £27.50 YTS money per week! Killed my social life and lost a very attractive girlfriend LOL! Eleven other Capris afterwards. Far to many other cars to mention. Current rides include Ford Ranger Wildtrak, BMW Z4 3.0i, Weird little Smart Car thing, Autotrail Arapaho motorhome and the other half has a John Cooper Works Mini

Good choice of Capri, love the Carla Check Recaros
As you say always plenty of Capris for sale and many are asking top money, but hanging around a long time.
Some are cheaper but are these cheap or just the realistically priced cars?
Don't know your budget but sure you have seen all these ads;

Hi John,
Welcome to the forum!
There's usually a good selection of Capris for sale at any one time, you should be able to find the car of your dreams. I think prices have stabilised at the moment, so there is no need to rush in and buy a car you are not happy with. The car you really want will come along within your budget.
My advice would be to go and have a look at any local cars for sale to re-familiarise yourself with what's what on a Capri. That way, when you do spot that gem you will know it. Of course, there are plenty of knowledgeable people on here who will offer a second opinion on any car that you are thinking of buying.
Andrew.
