As you know, me, Jason, Rob, Dan, Gary and others regularly go anyway.
This year we all managed to park together at the top of the field, if we can get a few more to come and join us that would be great.
It's a much smaller meet than Brooklands so there is plenty of time to catch up with other people and have a good natter. :)

Andrew.

I'm up for something over the winter, definitely. I keep my Capri on tax throughout and whilst I'm aiming to avoid the worst of the weather, an odd trip in the rain shouldn't hurt... (Nick close your eyes!).

December does tend to get quite busy both in that pubs/restaurants get booked up and people have other social commitments... Maybe late November would be better?

Will do my best to attend and hopefully bring a few more from Devon area

I like a chat after lunch which wasn't really possible at Brooklands as too much to cram in to the 4/5 hours we had there.

It's a pity that Brooklands didn't open their gates sooner. I can't help feeling that if we were in position by 9, the day could have been a lot more relaxed as those extra 2+ hours would have made a lot of difference. It may also have reduced the traffic issue caused by everybody arriving at the same time.

Andrew.

Me too. There are plenty of nice dry sunny days to get out there too, especially as the seasons all seem to be merging into one these days.

:agree: Andrew,
Brooklands cocked up bigtime :( Not the organisers fault by any means, but 2 hours is alot of difference to the day.

If they had someone on foot in the queue taking money from the cars and handing out passes that would have saved alot of the tailbacks.

The old boy on the gate was obviously struggling with the amount of cars that were coming in.

The shows the XROC attend, we are usually we are set up by 10.00, have a look around for a couple of hours then sit and chat for most of the afternoon.

Still a good but tiring day :sleepy:

I got back home at around 8.30 despite living in North London! Shows you the delight of traffic...

Wow, that's amazing!
I only got home an hour later than you, and that was with a 30 minute stop on the way back.

Andrew.

Albeit I probably stopped for 30-40 minutes, for something to eat plus to get petrol. But yes, says a lot about traffic!
