Re: New wheels..
How do you go on with the spare wheel Tom, do you carry two?
Re: New wheels..
I have been throwing wheels out of the car as I drive for the past few years, so I have a ready cache of them on the routes I regularly use. If I go on holiday, or a trundle to new places, I drive for a few yards, then leave my vehicle unattended and go back and get a spare, then drive a few more yards, then get out and move the wheel along a corresponding few yards.

Re: New wheels..
I can't fit spares in the car as my boot is full of bags of cement and paving slabs.

Re: New wheels..
It would be much easier to just say you don't carry a spare

Love the wheels Tom, particularly the BFGoodrich tyres and the writing

Slotmags, best wheels ever. I'm intrigued by them being 14's mind, are they from a Scimitar?

Re: New wheels..
Those wheels are just superb Tom.
I really love the stance/look of your Capri mate really love the bumperless/trim look. Think it really suits the lines of the Capri. Nice one fella

Re: New wheels..
Funny you should say that - about a month ago I was given some 14" dragslots from a Scimitar.... but they're 114 PCD! Just like everyone, I thought that "scimitar wheels fit also fit Fords" but it turns out that's a lie that I only discovered after shodding them. Found those Ford fitting wheels from a guy in Malvern.. think they're off a Ford 100E van.Cosmicbike wrote: ↑Wed Aug 14, 2019 2:16 pm Slotmags, best wheels ever. Re: New wheels..
Those BF Goodriches are the best tyres I've ever had.. had Cooper Cobras on the back for a year or two, in the wet it was just guaranteed oversteer even at modest enthusiasm levels. The Goodriches have so much grip its unreal.

That looks awesome in profile!
I wouldn't have slotmags on my car as they just wouldn't look right, but they do suit the look of your car perfectly.
Andrew.
