Silverstone classic event ITV 4

Just posted some pics in "Events" thread from Silverstone classics today, a programme of the weekends events is to be screened on 8th August ITV4 with several repeat times afterwards and I am sure the capris will feature as they had a 50th year parade lap

Should be worth a watch and may have even got the 280 filmed on the parade lap as was on 2nd row behind camera vehicle,

Mark thanks for the heads up re a TV programme on 8th Aug on ITV4 but just checked my Tivo box for this date and can't see anything. Wanted to set it to tape the programme you mentioned. Lots of The Sweeney and The Professionals though but no mention as said of a show on Silverstone Classics Day.??? Maybe my Tivo has wrong info but will keep an eye out for this mate. Thanks

Well spotted Nick, it is 11th August at 9pm and then to be repeated on 14th and 16th August at various times

There was a feature and front page photo of this in the latest Classic Car Weekly. I would have bought a copy but the last one they had in the shop (Asda) looked like it had been in a fight with a hippo.

Thought of the mother in law when you said Hippo , just had some diazepam and phoned 111 as it made me come over all funny . Sorry Paul she had been in your Asda
