New book's nearly ready!

Post by Steve Saxty »

Hopefully, that caught your eye, the new book is weeks away and nearly (but not quite ready to order. Here's how it's going to work. As you'll see there is a Collector's and Standard Edition of Capri 50, just like The Cars You Always... . The Collector's Ed of the new book has a slipcase, it's numbered and signed by Rod Mansfield and me and there is an optional poster too. The first 100 Collector's Eds will also get the £9.50 poster thrown in for free.

How do you get a copy?
  • I'll be along at several events this year and you can buy one then
  • The Capri Owners Club will have copies - but be warned it's already 55% sold out by expressions of interest
  • The Anniversary Set bundles are the best-value options: if you get an early Collector's Ed Boxed Set you'll get £25 off and a £9.50 poster free. The Standard edition bundle is £15 off - which means that since TCAPY is two books in length you get three books'-worth over reading for around £18 each - with not an advert or rehashed piece of material in sight!
If you've got TCAPY then get on the list here https://www.stevesaxty.com/capri50-register
If you want to reserve a bundled Anniversary Set then click here https://www.stevesaxty.com/best-value-bundle

There, now I really must finish!

It's part of Ford's birthday present too - take a close look... It's the first unveiling of Ford's official Capri 50th logo (I was keeping it quiet)

It's not yet out there but this will be Ford's official logo that's used at the Wraley and Dunton events. There's also a whole suite of things proposed for Capri enthusiasts which may or may not happen - but Ford is on it. I was delighted that they proposed my book be part of the official celebrations.

I've ordered a collector's edition. Looking forward to receiving that secretive family recipe, handed down through generations of Bowlers! :D

This time next year Mr Nick I can see your pie shops in every town in the U.K. .

Rather oddly I envy you lot reading it for the first time. It's good to know it's on the presses Friday. For those attending the events at Warley, Gaydon and, a week later, Silverstone then come say hello.

I should even have the new book with me.

I promise not to write any more Capri books - so the two should keep you going a while yet I hope.
