Help! Take a look at the Capri timeline

Here's the work-in-progress timeline from
Capri 50 which will also, by request, be a poster too. I'm after a quick look-over from you guys here. Although the images can't be changed substantially there's a few points needing adjustment - anything I missed?
- Red injection to be on pepperpots
- Backgrounds to be removed
Like I say we can't randomly add in a car at this stage, but we can tweak! - Thanks, Steve

I think most of us will be hurt that there is no laser!

The red injection does look good on the 7 spoke alloys

Yup - always one of my faves on the seven-spokes in Rosso Red and so I sneaked it on to the back cover of
The Cars You Always... in that combination. I seriously toyed with a Paris Blue Laser actually but then realized that most of the cars were four-cylinder ones and I needed a balance.

Yes I think the red Capri would look a lot better on pepperpots “ hint hint “
No Laser and it outsold any other model

Just one tiny thing, side repeaters on the Special front wings. Other than that, as the 1975 GTS(JPS) & the 1976 RS2800 look almost identical, you could make a lot of people very happy by changing one to the Laser model. I think someone may have mentioned it ..
Great looking poster mind

The side indicators were only on RHD cars - it's a left-hooker! I'm happy to look at a Laser - each illustration is £1,800 so if you guys want to crowdsource then I'll see if it can be added.

Wasn't it the run out model Jason - a few on A plate then B plate, C plate, D plate and E. Still, does get a brief mention in the 2.8 blurb. Must be enough!

Yup Laser was a run-out car mainly UK - so penny numbers of around 35,000 units vs the other four-cylinder cars there in the 100s of thousands. I really toyed with a Laser but decided to have an Injection and not just the 280 to have the widest appeal. But like I say elsewhere, I've blown the budget again on these illustrations but if you guys want to chip in...

£1800
I love that RS2800
. Seriously though, quality doesn’t come cheap @ it shows.
Jason, if you want to chip in the other £1799 to see your Laser, I’m in for the crowd fund.

Good news as I have a idea of raising the funds for a Laser Picture .
Nick you will need your hat for this one mate
Watch this space .
Peter yes I am sure the laser stated on A plates , But also the only Capri to make car of the year , voted as best ford ever made in the Essex lady’s brass band club , also only Capri to be used by a famous topless page 3 model . Even the laser model is the only Capri to have its own you tube channel
Please note there’s a very nice chap with a 2.8i who has a good flickR account .

Interesting to see te Laser was mainly for the UK market. Did they carry on with the LS, S and Ghia for longer in the other markets ?

I'm sure I scribbled a few pictures of Capris in exercise books when I was at school. If I can find them, you can have them for a lot less than £1800 if you want!
Andrew.

The Laser was a UK-only name for a range of special value Escorts, Sierras, etc. Here you go - you really need to buy
The Cars You Always...!

Papyrus and a quill, actually!
I should say that the Illustrations are brilliant, and the artist is very talented. These pictures have definitely whetted my appetite for the book.

I agree yes I will save mine when we are away in August already have that few days planned sitting in the chair with no one around in the Dorset country side a packet of Hob Knobs and a full pot of tea . Also hope this rain stops it’s getting that bad the bloke across the road is building a big wooden boat .
