Love the pic!
Nick, are they taking pre-orders - maybe better book your plot now ahead of the rush?

Again, brilliant pic!

What is this that stands before me?
Figure in black which points at me
Turn 'round quick and start to run
Find out I'm the chosen one
Oh, noooooo :guitar:

Good 'un :) That song is pure evil, really gets to your bones, just what good music should do - makes you actually feel something, whether you like it or not, you need to feel it.

People used to get their aggression out through music like this, it's what we need more of now rather than taking it out on each other.

Around 1984/85, myself and a few mates used to rent this video on a weekend and I also taped the audio onto cassette tape :)

Good times I bet Andy, it's great to be passionate about music.

I saw Sabbath once, in the 80's, I know they are infamous for line up changes and only Iommi was present at this time, but the concert was truly superb. Cozy Powell was on drums, what a talent.

Theatre gig and I was right up front, magic.

Simpler times Paul and it's all we had then as you know.
We would learn how to play then load up my car with the guitars, amps and drum kit then go to the local Scout Hut (My mates Dad had a key) and practice in the kitchen area as it was louder in there

Saw them at Bristol Hippodrome in 1985, again Iommi and Butler were the only original members. Saw Ozzy in Birmingham '86.

They were part of growing up (relative term :D ) for many of us, my mate & I have been going to see bands for over 30 years, hadn't seen them for years but managed to get tickets for their "last ever" show at the NEC, brilliant, simply brilliant. Thought I would feel sad seeing the "last ever" gig but was on such a high, it was a real celebration

Welcome to the 'Old Farts Club'

One of the pioneers, and a band that inspired a 1000 more. Sadly everything must come to an end, but what a legacy to leave behind.

Never Say Die

I still smile when I see blokes in their late 40's/50's wearing Rock band T Shirts. Never Boney M or The 3 Degrees
That says alot about that genre of music and it's longevity.

I am that old fart :D

Planet rock is the station of choice in our broom cupboard of an office, we have a 19 year old apprentice who is having his horizons broadened :D

Its surprising how many songs he knows, but mostly because they have been sampled or covered by younger generation artists, Eminem particularly according to him, nice to hear that proper bands are still influencing da yuff ;)

I have several but usually wear my :ford: related ones.

Years ago, men of my age would be wearing brown and beige :o How times change, or are we just scruffier
