Collectors Edition Classic Ford Capri 50yrs Mag

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi all,

I was talking with Jason earlier and he told me he had just received his copy of this Collectors Edition today so I was well pleased to see when I popped home for lunch from work to see that I got my copy in the post this morning too ! Just had a quick flick through and it looks a cracking read. Good quality magazine too. Well worth the £5.99 :)

Hi Nick,
My mag also arrived today. As you say, it feels like a very good quality publication and there appear to be some fantastic cars featured. :D

This just makes me think “ what if “

Also nice for them to recognise that the Pinto Engine was the best Capri to have , funny as I know we all new that anyway

I still haven't got mine as it has a fair way to travel - is it all new material or reprints from their earlier editions which someone said it was? Nice to see it's good quality. How many pages?

There are 98 pages, not all of that is Capri content as there are some ads contained within. I don't read Classic Ford magazine so if this magazine is a compilation of features from that mag, I wouldn't have read them before anyway. :)

Yes a lot from the magazine just put together as a all Capri base magazine some stuff I think has been nicked from a top selling Capri book that went on sale last year as well  only joking steve

Well, I can't blame them for using my book as a reference - I just hope they haven't actually pinched any copyrighted material like words and photos. Although my upcoming Capri book is in a different place for price and quality this one serves the magazine-budget buyer so I wish it well. I just wasn't sure if it contained new material or a splicing together of historic articles - which I wouldn't blame them for on what must be a small budget to sell at that price.

Nice one Andy, Its a mix of previous articles in Classic Ford with some newer bits and pieces so it really is a nice little thing to have and nice reading in all one edition and very good quality for just a magazine. I really like it and very reasonable price too :)
