Did you manage to convince him not to squirt the wiper fluid again this year??

Re: MOT Day
Congrats to Nick and B112!
The pass is definitely no surprise considering how well maintained the car is.

Re: MOT Day
That is so serious, that should have been classified as a major fault....Jasonmarie wrote:I see you had any one advisory on the MOT that they found a finger print on the gearbox housing

Well...Funny you say this Danny... No washer fluid was squirtedD366Y wrote:Did you manage to convince him not to squirt the wiper fluid again this year??
I have known him for years and he is very old skool, and over more recent years he knows how protective I have become with B112 so I can tell him I tested the washer beforehand (with a towel over the car) and he is happy to take me on my word ! Couple of years back I could not get to him in time before he hit the washer squirt and he could see the damage it did to me emotionally and physically , so he knows better now

Jason it was great to get down the in the pit at the mot station this morning to have a proper look at what tickover have done underneath...but I was still drawing up a list of other jobs need doing under there. Whilst tickover have done a stunning job with the major organs under there I still have a bit of tidying up to do...jobs I did not want to bother them with and nice for me to play a small part in the underside resto. I don't want to leave myself with nothing to do

That's exactly what I did with mine the week before the MOTFordoholic Nick wrote: I tested the washer beforehand (with a towel over the car)
Although he did check them on the day, the car needed a wipe down anyway from the Haynes meet the day before, so no big deal
