Not going to give too much away, but it was a different sort of programme, without the usual bull :turd:

Can't believe what a wreck of a car made :o :o

Some nice cars featured and also in the background shots, and you might see a glimpse of a couple of ......

I really enjoyed the programme and it's good to see the whole show without tossers like Brewer etc using it as a platform to stroke their egos.

Yes Andy, the price that one wreck of a car made (won't spoil it for others) beggared belief. WTF would you do with it? Even if you got a new shell everything else was shot too.

Sounds good! I'm thinking the show must be good if Paul can't find anything to criticise.... Joke... :sorry: Paul! :D
I forgot it was on  but it is repeated on Sunday at midnight, so I'll set the recorder.

Andrew.

When you're over 50, you have the right to be critical :D

I wasn't paying a lot of attention, but I did spot a blue mark 3 shown near the end of the programme. Hopefully it (and others) will be featured in forthcoming episodes.

Andrew.

There was also a shot of a Mk3 n/s front wing and headlights earlier, it looked black.

Good programme this, with many classic cars from different eras, and quite a few 80's Fords featured or in background shots :D

Other car memorabilia auctions too.

I watched it and enjoyed it very much.
If I had one minor criticism of the show, I would say that the gathering of owners of similar cars to view a car for sale stinks of being made up for the telly. Would all those Mini owners really go to Mathewsons to view that Cooper on last weeks show? The same with the Cosworth owners on this weeks show. Apart from that it strikes me as an honest show, and as Paul said earlier, there's no big egos trying to hog the limelight.

Andrew.

Hi Andrew,
:agree: I can't imagine there would be too many people looking at the same car on the same day that the film crew were there.

I liked that Sunbeam it looked great.

Hi,
I`d be genuinely interested if anyone could actually try to compile a list of ALL the shows, inc. American, related to modding/restoration, which are currently on air (or have been in the last year.) I honestly can`t keep track of them now, there must be 20 odd at least across a dozen channels? Compared to a decade ago = TG and 5th gear.
