Capri Wind Tunnel Models

Post by Steve Saxty »

I just uploaded 60 photos of these beautiful one-fifth scale wind tunnel models. Lots of them are of the RS2800 and the original Capri II model. Take a look, they are just lovely. https://www.stevesaxty.com/prototype-models

Brilliant to see these, thanks for uploading them Steve. I’d love a wall full of these on display in the garage. If only.

They are damn heavy - a good 40lbs each so reinforce your shelves!

Great models, would love the mk2 but there’d be a long queue!
I wish I could spend a day looking at all their history archive, your book gave a great insight.

I'm glad you liked it. I can't recall if I posted this but here's the backlot of the Ford museum - I'll try and dig out the pics of the actual archive. It's cold in there and zero humidity to protect everything - after four days in there my skin was parched dry!

Here's the museum - https://www.stevesaxty.com/cologne-museum
