I posted the same thing up several years ago, think somebody said it was an available kit back in the day and in a custom car mag. Awful isn't it.

Noooo. Do that to a Manta or a Marina coupe or a Celica or a bloody Trabant. Not a Capri

I think there was a Capri into Aston V8 lookalike kit available too back then - and I don't mean the Tickford.

Motivation seems to be based less on taste than a desire to stand out. Capri world is thankfully more about originality with the odd sympathetic mod. Cosworth scene is still about power upgrades, big wheels and other Max Power ghastliness. Time is a healer.

I think you're referring to the Bullet/Bullit/Bullitt kit.
A reproduction of said kit is still available for those who mistakenly believe it's a good idea.....

That CCI kit looks very much like the Pilgrim Martini.

I had better hastily add I only know this because I once bought and rebuilt a Pilgrim Sumo kit car (AC Cobra replica) back in the day. They sold thousands of Sumos but about 5 Martinis and there dont seem to be any photos of it even on the internet

How about a JBA Javelin?i appreciate there may be some owners on here so not to upset them but it was clearly a car of its time, or a conversion of its time. I think the Crayford MK1 with the roof in the down position looks okay but take away the elliptical side window and it sort of stops being a Capri for me, it's like having a Rolls Royce without a Grille.
