Anybody watch Tipping Point today?
One of the questions had a reference to our beloved Capri!
The question was something like "What model of Ford car introduced in 1969 shares it's name with an Italian island?".... Drat, I've given the answer away!
With the recent mention on Eastenders, it would appear that the Capri is getting a lot of prime time TV airtime in it's 50th anniversary year.

I watch a lot of quality TV!
Tipping Point and The Chase make a great double header of teatime TV quizzing.
I didn't see the Capri reference on The Cube though. Was that on ITV2 or something?
Andrew.

Yes I saw it too. The girl didn't know the answer, but passed it to another lady who did get it. Host Ben did say it's a shame you can't get them anymore.
We are used to Capri questions on the Chase, first time I've heard one on Tipping Point.

The Capri had another brief mention on Tipping Point today.
It was an incorrect answer supplied by a contestant. The question was something about a Ford car introduced in 1962 that shares it's name with an Italian ski resort.
Even if the contestant displayed a shocking lack of knowledge about our beloved Capris, it's still nice for the cars to get a mention on prime time TV.

Another mention for the Ford Capri on Tipping Point today! Did anybody else shout the answer out at the TV?
