Hi I’ve just acquired a 1.6 laser , but have to sell it as I have too many projects on the go at the moment. Please could someone give me a estimated value thanks.
2 owners from new
50000 miles
All mots from new
Always garaged
No corrosion
How do I post pictures?

This assumes you have a pic on your computer (for example on your desktop) already -

1. Go to https://postimages.org/ (you do not have to be a member or login)
2. Click Choose Images
3. Browse to the pic you wish to use and double click it (or click once and click Open)
4. Copy the Direct Link in the list (i.e. click the symbol on the right or highlight it and press Control-c)
5. Open up a new message window on here (as if to type your reply/new message, or whatever, as you normally would)
6. Type your message and when done click the Img button and then press Control-v (this will paste the link you previously copied in step 4)
7. Press Preview to see how it will look or Submit, and you're done.

What I do on Post Image is;
1.Choose pic
2.Open
3.Go down to Hotlink for forums: and left click the icon on the right hand side (It will then say copied)
4.Go back to this forum, right click and paste it

Looks nice, but as it has no current MOT and not had one since 2014 at 53000 miles, that will affect the price quite alot.
I would put a new MOT on it, or put up the fail sheet.

:goodluck:

Going for mot tomorrow and valet
The car has been dry stored since 2014 , I bought the car off the last owners family as the previous owner had sadly past away

Sounds like a good plan :)
Tyres and other rubber items, fluids, oil etc probably need changing as it's been stored so worth factoring that into any asking price.

As ever it will be worth what someone wants to pay for it, I'm sure you will have plenty of interest

Hagerty put a 1986 2.0 Capri at £4900 in fair condition, £8100 in good condition and £12800 in excellent condition.....They don't state a 1.6 :?

So maybe adjust your price from that.

That looks like a very nice Laser.
As you're probably aware, it's not the best time of year to be selling a classic car. If it's possible, I would hold on to it until Spring, then MOT it to sell then.
Either way, good luck with the sale.

Andrew.

Yes we both did talk about it the Mrs thinks It’s not a good idea, he will have to do a lot of mileage nextyear as his girlfriend is going to Canterbury university. He is back Friday so will have to watch this space . Rob if it was a mercury grey I really would think it’s great . But it looks ok from the two pictures .
