Just came across this

Post by ThatGuy »

Was just searching for random things to give me some inspiration for my Capri and came across this
https://www.motorsportauctions.com/cate ... -Find.html
When I usually find these kinds of adverts they're many years old but this was from this year which I found quite interesting.

Does anyone know if it got bought or what has happened to it? In my eyes it looks like a perfect base of a car to start any project

Really is that all? I'd of been all over that for 3k like I said it's a perfect base for any Kind of track/fast road car.
Surprising that something like that sold so cheap in my eyes

:agree: What a great track car that would make, it would be a lot of work but immense fun, be good to find out it’s history too.

Yes, I would have thought that it would have sold for more.
However, it's only worth what people are willing to pay and the bidders just weren't there on the day.

Plus, at the moment there doesn't appear to be any real motorsport provenance with it other than a few race modifications. If it's not a genuine Ford works car, it's just a rusty car in a barn....

That's very true Andrew, exactly as you say if it's not genuine it's just a rusty car in a barn.
But then to me genuine doesn't mean too much, it still looks like a perfect base car
