Spanish opera singer who, with Freddie Mercury sang "Barcelona", one of the most beautiful Olympic Games songs ever. This was the song for for the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, Barcelona being her home town.
I expect the older ones of you on here will remember this song with fondness and it still brings a lump to my throat when I hear it.

I remember that song well Paul...Freddie was starting to show certain signs of his ilness around this time too

Yes I do remember this I did have a chance to see queen in the early 80s but declined the offer , what a donut I was .
Still have all the Queen Albums on vinyl might have a listen later .

That is unbelievable because I saw Michael Jackson in the 80s and Marie my wife was there and only in the next stand to me we met 5 years later . Did see Que in the early 90s at Wembley arena.

It's an incredible song and she was an incredible force. I saw Queen a couple of times. Probably the greatest band ever, some of the stuff they did on their albums was amazing.
