Christmas Stocking Filler.

Post by Andrew 2.8i »

Here's a great idea for your loved ones (or Mother-in-Law!) to buy you as a stocking filler this year.

The Capri makes it on to the cover as it is celebrating it's 50th anniversary next year.

Bloody hell, Haynes know how to charge for a diary. No wonder they can afford a museum full of classics

I suppose when you look at it that way it seems expensive. As a gift though, it beats receiving a lot of rubbish you'll never use.

Already have the mother in laws spend a day with a tiger and if that does not work she’s booked up with swimming with sharks .
But glad to see they have the Capri on the front , I don’t have a dairy anymore ?

Hi Jason,
Sorry to hear that, are you having an op on Tuesday?

The Capri will be in good hands, presumably you're taking it to Tickover for the MOT?

No they make sure everything is not moved but to do so they injected me Monday and i go up to a upright MRI scan then see what damage I have done with the mad doctors , it takes a bit of time for me to walk again but i getting use to it now . I take me dad up with me to get him out . Then if they keep me in he has to find he own way home . I have to do this a few times a year . Back to the car yes It should be all ok to pick up Tuesday and get back to the garage for the big winter sleep . Can’t belive it’s winter again .

Hi Jason,
I hope everything goes OK with the scan and also with the MOT.

When is the MOT due? It would have been better to book the car in for the MOT at the end of September. That way you could have declared it SORNed before the end of the month and saved some money. Just a thought.....

Hi Jason,

Mate, Good Luck with the mot on your Laser at Tickover. And Good Luck with the legs too fella....are you getting these done at "Legover" ... ... :sorry:

Jason you get my sense of humour which is why I can prob get away with joking like this but yep I really hope all goes well with your legs mate. Keep us posted how it goes mate Shame it looks like our paths wont cross on Fri now but when I get B112 back from Tickover I must try to pop over to you for a cuppa but you can pay the Dart Charge for me...

All the best mate and once again hope all goes well on both fronts.

Cheers now,

Nick

For a £5, this would make a great stocking filler for you guys....

It's rechargeable too, so you won't have to worry about buying batteries. I bought one to use myself and I think it's brilliant.

That’s really good , I have magnified glasses that I use and two lamps with magnifying lens .
But I use the headlight glasses all the time for watches and some times could do with just a bit more so might get one of them as it looks like it will do the job .
Nice find Andrew .

Here’s one light I use in the front room .

 yes now you say that it does , that is funny marie the wife hates it in the front room but I use it so much as if testing a pocket watch I can adjust easy using the light saves getting everything out .
Also it’s my reading lamp .
