While I was out and about in St. Dogmaels today I spotted a rather nice 3 litre Mk1...
The owner was stood by the car and I couldn't resist stopping for a quick chat. Nice chap, and very enthusiastic too. I told him that I had a Mk3 2.8, but I'm not sure whether he believed me or whether he thought I was about to say something about having to put paving slabs in the boot etc etc.....
Anyway, the car was at a tyre place to have four new Toyo Proxes fitted so I took the opportunity to take a cheeky snap. The car was in very good condition and the owner told me that the engine has been breathed on by Swaymar and produces a tasty 200BHP.

The owner told me he has owned the car for about two years and has recently moved to St. Dogmaels, which probably explains why I hadn't seen the car around before......or had I? It was only after I drove off that the registration was ringing bells in my memory.
Lo and behold, here it is at Queen Square back in February 2017. Small world, isn't it?
