People simply need to ask for a special number and I request it!

As for price then I’ll let people decide on value – in truth it’s a huge book that should be double the £44.95 it costs from a high-end publisher like Porter Press but by selling it directly it’s affordable. The damn thing weights 7lbs and at 153,000 words it is six times longer than my old one.

As for Collectors vs Standard? I would say the value is in the Standard one for sure but the Collector’s version is way the bigger seller so far because it is so unusual and would be a £150-200 book typically, but here’s what I say when asked. If you have one of the feature cars on the two different covers then buy that one. If you have either a Mark 1 or a pepperpot-shod Injection then you should get the Collectors – because there’s a unique (and beautiful) illustration of it in the poster and the extra chapter of Collectors. If you have a Mark II then the Standard one will serve you well.

When you get a copy, if you’ve bought one, then do post your views on it!

Oh and questions? – ask me!.... [email protected]

Brilliant video Jason. :applaud: :applaud: :applaud:

Wow !! That book really does look stunning mate....stunning !!! And can you believe the numbered edition you got...112   Superb !!

This really does look a remarkable book indeed and the collectors edition is deffo worth the extra money. Steve signing it is a perfect touch and the poster is fabulous too. Bugger...wish I had pre-ordered one now but looking on the publishers page Collectors Editions are still available. :)

Thanks for sharing the video Jason. You can hear in your voice how mych you love this book. What a shame your Grandad is not about to see it too mate.

All the best

Nick

Yes what is the chance of me getting 112 only when nick said I thought Christ yes as I was opening the book I did think hang on it’s 112 , but I am pleased to say that nick and myself will be swapping books as 112 has to go to Mr Nick . Just so strange as nick said I would love book 112 as well can’t belive it .
But 112 derseves to be with B112 .

Yes ladies and gents of the forum, Jason was in touch with me earlier and without asking (honest) he really kindly agreed to let me have his Signed 112 copy. An amazing gesture from a great guy. He actually agreed to swap it for a copy of my book "My Love Affair with the Bumpy Roads of Enfield"

Yep I can honestly say it brought a tear to my eye when Jason messegered me on fb to tell me I could have it. Unbelievably kind !! But Bleedin hell....what are the chances that after I jokingly said earlier this morning how it would be great to have limited numbered edition 112, then next thing I see Jason on you tube saying he had numbered 112  A very Arthur C Clarke moment

So yep I will order a Collectors Edition tonight then swap it with Jason the true gent that he is. As I said to him earlier just the fact he offered to do this made my day.

What a great video Jason did too. You can really see the quality of this book and just by how he talks about the feel of it too I am very excited to get a copy. The research gone into this book over the last two years is like nothing done before so yep what a stunning read its going to be.

So Thank You very much indeed Jason. Cant believe I will have numbered 112...how cool is this :D

All the best

Nick (B112) :)

No I could not belive it what would be funny is if nick got my number plate of 625 I would think it’s a Arthur C Clark moment
No as always we all try to look after each on here even if we have some kind of a clue of what we know we are doing sometimes .
But it’s a very good book what is about the story of The Ford Capri .

Also yes both 50 next year where has the time gone , and also 50 of the Capri . Should have some great meetings to go to next year as well .

My book is here but I can't read it until Christmas. With a baby there is no time anyway at the minute but I am looking forward to it.
