Hi all,

Well, I have ordered a Black Cool dash Mat, with black edging and Capri Laser logo embroided on it for myself...just in time for the winter

These really do look excellent quality indeed and Colin, one of the designers/supplier is a great guy. He really has a passion for his product and is very excited to be launching the Capri version now. We were chatting on facebook last night at 2am !!! He was keeping me updated with my order. How 'cool' is that !! He was telling me that he has just started making these cool mats with a new cushioned backing so any orders now will have this new backing. I think I am correct in thinking that Jason has ordered one too so we will be one of the first to get the updated cushioned backing version !!

Will post up a report as soon as I get mine and add some pictures as Jason prob will do too as I believe he has gone for the Grey one to suit his Capri :)

Colin was telling me last night that mine is going off to be embroided next couple of days so very excited to see what its like when it arrives. Before anyone says the obvious " black in the sun gets very hot" , I had this concern too so asked Colin his advice. He says yep you cant get away from the fact that black will absorb the heat more than grey, the black ones have been very very popular with the other models he has sold and no one has had any problems at all with them at all and they have done exactly as it says on the box...protects the dash from direct sunlight. And of course the colour is a personal thing. Black I reckon will look stunning on mine whereas the grey or white will look equally stunning on theirs !!

So a big thanks to Jason for keeping us all up to date with this great product which looks great as well. Nice one Jason :applaud:

Any of you chaps with nice dash tops should consider getting one for the summer next year. I may even display mine when its not sunny as they look so good. One person I think may not be so tempted is John who has his trusty beer towels he had stitched together by his mum

I got some beer towels given to me by Andy ( :) ) which yep I will still keep handy for when the sun is not a danger but enough to throw a beer towel on the main section but for complete protection from the sun I reckon these tailored great looking Cool Mats are the way to go !! :)

All the best and thanks again to Jason for the original heads up on this product,

Cheers

Nick

I was hoping to get the beer towels back Nick

These dash covers are great, I leave mine on all the time :)

Hi Jason,
I ordered a grey one with black edging. Not surprisingly, I went for the "Capri injection" logo!
I've just had an email from Colin to confirm my order. :D Thumbs up for the prompt communication, so many sellers don't realise the importance of a confirmation email.

I might ask for one for Christmas. £45 is a bit steep at the moment. Is there a link or website I can bookmark so I can come back to these later?
