Fordoholic Nicks Gallery

Post by Fordoholic Nick »

Hi,

Could not resist adding a third framed photo to my 45th Brooklands and Classic Ford 2016

Image2018-06-04_09-29-38 by nicholas bowler, on Flickr

Next up is the 50th Brooklands next year :)

Funny story, as I drove down Airfield Road up to Santa Pod the fella who takes the pics was sitting in his usual place ready to capture all the cars as they arrive but as it was 0645am and I had the road to myself so as I approached him he seemed to be reading a book not hearing me approach, then just as I got close he looked up grabbed his camera and took a picture. I swore that he fucked up and missed me or it would be a crap picture but it turned out absolutely perfect.

I made sure to keep looking ahead and not to flick up my fingers ( hi Andrew :applaud: )

I :applaud: him for his quick reactions

Very nice photo Nick, and what an excellent pose you had struck for the photographer. :)
Although you should have given a flash of the quads!

Hi Kristian, first of welcone to the forum fella. Great to have another Pinto here :)

Secondly thanks for you very kind words. Much appreciated. It does take a nice picture but still a work in progress...am getting there :)

Kristian my pinto has the weber 32/36 dgav carb with the k+n air filter. Exhaust is the Sportex 4-2-1 System which the Capri Club also sell.

Once again mate welcome to the forum. Its a brilliant place with lots of very very knowlegeable and friendly folk. No question too large or small !!

All the best

Nick
