My mate has one like that ready to fit onto his 2.8 when it's restored.....I looked after it for a while when he didn't have room for it :helpinghand:

I know the seller, he lives across the road from me and used to be one of my students years ago when I was teaching car mechanics.

Didn't know he'd got that though but he is a Ford collector.

Sounds like you formed quite a strong and personal bond with your mates rear spoiler Andy while you allowed it into your life for a short time

I wouldn't pay anything near that for it, even for my 3.0S.

Got a perfectly good Halfords down the road that sells shelves full of Nick's favorite spray paint ( in black) so that will do on mine!

Isn't it amazing that NOS stuff is still coming up for sale, it must be at least 20 years since items like this could be ordered from Ford.
I wonder if it had been bought with the intention of using it on a resto project that never happened.

Andrew.

Hi, This sold for £372 in the end. Was watching the last 2mins of the auction. It was at £310 with 3 bidders then right on 'time up' it leapt up to £372 with that fourth bid.
