Must be summer...

Post by daisyduke »

Hey all, just got the Capri out of hibernation - big thanks to Major Tom for the help driving me about to get a new battery, and doing an oil change.

So, I’m asking on here too as know the wanted pages don’t get so much attention. I’m in need of a horn stalk 76EG 13335 AA. Could also do with some new mk3 mirrors, and am also after some trim for the little lip bit where the bonnet meets the grill - must be a better name for that...

Can anyone help a sister out?

Try Martin (Caprigear) on here, 01507343148 or PM him.

See the replies to your other thread about the horn stalk.
As Andy says, try Martin for the other parts. It's worth me mentioning that the bonnet lip trim seems to be hard to find in decent condition, but that may not worry you as I'm guessing you'll be repainting it to match your paintwork. However, if you can't find one, they are available as a repro item from CCI.

Andrew.

Hi Daisy

I started mine up on sunday. Needs an MOT before I go anywhere in it.

My pleasure. I forgot how nice condition your Capri is.. everything's so tight and true and shiny. And it has an interior that is in the car and not in a shed!
I'm the one who leaves all those shoes in the carriageway.
