Getting the Capri ready for the nice weather

Post by sheff »

At last it looks like we might have some good weather and I might attend my first show this weekend.

After about 6 months of storage the Capri was looking a bit dusty

Tomorrow I'll be getting the interior cleaned up, which fortunately won't be such a big job!

Hi Neil,
Looking stunning there! The hard work that you've put in has really worked wonders as the paintwork looks to have a wonderfully deep shine to it. Beautiful.

Cheers Andrew. It was hard work the dust had eaten into the paint mixed with a bit of overspray where I've been painting stuff near the car over the winter.

Look forward to seeing your photo's of the CCI Nationals Andrew, but I don't think I'll throwing any more money their way :D

All the best

Cheers Andy

Perhaps I should invest in some sort of breathable cover??

Been let down by a couple of mates that I was going to go with.... Thinking I might just go out for a long drive with a fresh tank of fuel, as its probably what the car needs after not having any use for so long. Maybe find a pub near Beaulieu and watch the Fords drive past :D

:agree: Indoor cover or some old bed sheets if it's garaged.

Have a good one tomorrow whatever you do.......I'm going to Haynes breakfast meet :D

Have a good day if you do decide to go. Let us know if it is worth the trip before we make a final decision on the August meet....
