Edd's BACK!!!!!

Post by Taff50ish »

Hi All,

Guess what I just came across??? The clue is in the title.... Edd China is back at last with his new show. Looks like its You Tube based for now. I will say I'm sure I've seen this before with Mark Evans though, but still, a new show for the Tall Man can't be a bad thing!!!! I just watched this and really did enjoy it... Cheers and enjoy,

John...

It's good to see Edd back with a programme, of sorts, but what good is it on YouTube? He needs to be on prime time terrestial TV instead of the usual rubbish we have to put up with.

:agree: Seconded, he was always the lead in wheeler dealers, Mike was just the cheesy salesman. I remember one show in which Mike described himself as the A team for locating the cars & Edd as the B team for just being the grease monkey, no wonder they parted company.

Hi Rob,
I haven't seen that episode, but surely he must have been joking. Mike can't really believe for one moment that the show's success is all down to him......can he?

If I remember it was one of their American shows, Edd just laughed 'OK' but must have seriously annoyed, don't think Mike would have taken that so gracefully. Hope Edd's new venture takes off, best of luck to him.

Think it was series 13 where they went to the states for a series......It was the episode looking back at the cars they did there iirc.

Pretty sure it was that one, glad you saw it too. Haven't really been interested in the new series with Ant Anstead, there are just so many other car programmes to watch, it's not grabbing me.

Not watched it either as it hasn't been on the channels we have, plus I have found MB more and more annoying as the series have gone on!
AA is a good mechanic etc, but it won't be the same so time to move on for me......

Hi All,

Much as I do love these shows and I have a real warmth to the original Wheeler Dealers, I will say the new ones with Ant are (In my humble opinion.) amazing, it seems like he has brought the 'Spark' back. I see the Cossie has been mentioned. I won't spoil this for anyone waiting to see it, but for me it was Great, real passion back again. Ant really seems to know his stuff and he seems to enjoy this so much the fun just oozed out for me....

I am also looking forward to Edd getting his show on track and on TV too.... Love the Photo of Edd's Back by the way, great!!!! :xd: :xd: :xd: Well, all for now, Cheers chaps, all the best,

John...

Sour grapes or was there more happening behind the scenes than it appeared from the outside?

Mike was talking about Edd not being gracious, but it's hardly gracious bad mouthing Edd like that...
