That's it, yes. Hopefully they will show it being sold later in the series. That S will look superb once it's finished.

Andrew.

Imo, this is by far the best car programme that has been on T/V for a while
:agree: Am really enjoying this series, nice family business, great to hear the stories of past & future owners as well as seeing the cars themselves. :applaud:

I see the flipping bangers boys are up to their old tricks!
I can't see the logic of spending money on new bumpers and other items, and also getting the wheels powder coated, once they'd made the decision not to finish the Beetle and to sell it as a project. I wouldn't have thought that they'd recoup what they spent on those bits.
I know they're working at the budget end of the market, but I can't believe they still don't inspect the cars properly before buying them. Maybe that is further evidence that it's all just make believe for the telly?

Andrew.

:agree:
Again, they had already made their minds up to buy it before they got there :? Maybe spending a little more on a better cars would make more sense.

I can understand why the did what they did but financially it didn't work, and it looks like the usual Ebay messers were at play again

Not one of their better episodes :( I wouldn't give up a day job to do it

I'll be sad to see the end of this series.
It's a pity that we didn't see any Capris featured, but it was a brilliant series nonetheless.

Not their finest hour, hope the series gets better, they're a really likeable pair but I wouldn't buy shares in their ventures just yet ;)

:agree: Rob,
They need to buy better cars to start with. Don't believe much of it anyway, MOT always pass with no mention of how much that cost and sure the 5 day thing is rubbish too.

Still watchable though

Yet another car show to set your recorders for:
Thursdays at 10PM on Quest, and it's called Iron Resurrection.
I don't know much about it, it might be good, it might not but it's probably worth a try! :)

Flipping bangers, Yet more TV Bullshit. They'd be better off buying a barbeque and start flipping burgers - they'd probably then break into a profit.

Good one, Andy. Thanks for the heads up.
Salvage Hunters should be good as, despite it's faults, it's still a watchable programme.
I'll give Goblin Works a miss though.

Andrew.

The Dave channel is currently repeating Modern Wheels or Classic Steals in the mornings.
Some of the car choices are just as ridiculous the second time around!
Who can forget the selection of a Capri for a buyer who wanted a vehicle to take their family camping and had to be able to carry kayaks!

The Red Bull soapbox races are also good for some laugh out loud moments too!

Andrew.

I noticed it too Andrew.
Elo was often pretty hopeless with his cars, don't mind missing it to be honest.

Like you I won't be watching Goblin Works as I find it hard to watch with most of the cars they do.

Will make the effort with Salvage Hunters, and hopefully it will be repeated a few days later a little earlier in the day.

Not watched Red Bull although I have seen it on while flicking channels.
