It's the second Sunday of the month so I can say that I definitely will be out at that time....

I will be a sleep before 7 tonight as it’s that bloody drunk & Dec tonight last one . Then next week I think it’s britain got to much rubbish with drunk & Dec again .

I watch the first episode of Flippin Bangers last night and enjoyed it

Its informative as Andy said in parts but again with it being an hour long with adverts there is only so much they can fit in alongside the "buy" and "sell" sections but I like the two guys. I like the fact they are just aiming to give a classic a new lease of life making it safe and roadworthy without going too overboard so they aint afraid to get a rattle can out rather than do the usual full respray that most of us don't really have the money for. Mind you as their plan is "flip" a car around in just a week this obviously has a big impact on how much work they can actually do unlike the likes of Wheeler Dealers who do not really have a deadline to meet.

Yep I will deffo watch the whole series now to see what they get up to with other classics. Already looking forward to the GTi.....

I am actually waiting in excited anticipation to see some Halfords Flexible Vinyl Paint ( HFVP) make an appearance at some stage

Hopefully they don't film the show in North London, as there is an unexplained shortage of the stuff in that area. Apparently, every single branch has sold out....

They definitely took a chance with that Golf

Having watched both Flipping Bangers and Strippers (bangers and Strippers...... ) I thoroughly enjoyed them. Nice relatable blokes on Bangers and cheap easily accessible motors..... it's a 10 from Len..(well...Tim)
I smelled a rat though with 'planted' purchasers when an old associate of mine from my Hot Rod days, rocked up on strippers.
The Rockabilly (his name is actually Billy!) with the hot rod who turned up to buy the seats was a set up.
My logic.......who would travel all the way from South Cheshire (Audlem) to buy a pair of ten a penny seats, to darn sarf? It would have cost a Kidney in fuel with his small block Chevy and no boot space to carry them home!
He's a lovely bloke but also hell bent on fame so appears on the local radio and local tv etc.
He didn't even use them......
I hope it's not all just a set up otherwise like all these type of programmes it'll be down hill from here....

They sure did! If they were genuinely starting a business together, as the voiceover introduction suggests, would they really take such a gamble? I wonder if some of the issues were for adding suspense for the viewers? Especially the annoying imposed time scale that all these programmes insist on having.
It's still an entertaining show though, but perhaps some of the situations shown are best taken with a pinch of salt.

That's why I think that this show could be good, as the budget they have is a lot smaller than on similar shows. Similar to the early days of Wheeler Dealers.

I watched the repeat of strippers on Sunday morning, but I watched many of the episodes on Youtube a couple of years ago.
Again it's watchable but a bit

Pretty sure all these deadlines are to be taken with a pinch of salt

On 5 Spike (Sky 160, Freeview 31) at 8pm tonight, Beware; Grand Theft Britain. A documentary exposing the criminals who engage in stealing cars.

I don't really like these programmes, but in the current climate could be worth watching.....We may learn something in car security?

I'm quite enjoying this series of Flipping Bangers.
I can't say that I believe all of the guff that Gus and Will have given up their jobs to start this as a business. They can't be making much money between them, not unless they've got the use of the workshop for free. Other than that though, it's a decent enough programme with an interesting choice of cars.
